Chlorine dioxide is a new powerful bactericide and disinfector in America in
1980s. Tests of Foodstuff Department of America (FDA)
and Environment Protection of America (EPA) indicated
that chlorine dioxide is a perfect bactericide and
disinfector. The World Health Organization(WHO) also
identifies that it is high efficiency and finds wide
use. Chlorine dioxide is known as a ideal substitute
of the liquid chlorine、chloride of lime、euchlorine、sodium
hypochloride and so on.
Application rage:
Chlorine dioxide can be used for sterilizing、disinfecting、killing
alga、peeling off、bleaching、decoloring、deodorization、oxidating、antisepticising、keeping
fresh、holding off mildew、eliminating cyanogen、eliminating
hydroxybenzene and other functions;It is widely used
for drinking water、hospital waste water、municipal
waste water、industrial recycle water、the protection
of chemical environment waste water、breeding aquatic
product、producing paper pulp、slaying poultry、indoor
air、producing beer、machining food、washing apparatus
and so on.

Work principle:
5kg sodium chlorate、10kg water and 30~31 percent strength
hydrochloric acid are introduced into reactor, and
heat. Then the mixture of chlorine dioxide and chlorine
(or only chlorine dioxide) are gotten.And this mixture
can be used to treating water.
Material cost
multiple series:
0.65g sodium chlorate and 1.3g hydrochloric acid
can get 1g effective chlorine. Its cost is about ¥0.004.
High unmixed series:
7.5% of 16g Sodium chlorate 9% of 1.3g hydrochloric
acid can get chlorine dioxide. Its cost is about ¥0.04.
